Gluten Sensitivity Screen

Gluten Sensitivity Screen (Celiac & Wheath Allergy) This is a multi-step test that detects antibodies the body makes when it cannot adequately process gluten, a primary component of wheat, barley, rye, and certain other grains.
This profile begins with tests to screen for celiac disease:
Tissue Transglutaminase Antibodies (TTG)
Deaminated Gliadin Peptide (DGP) Antibodies
If negative for celiac antibodies, the sample will be tested for antibodies to native gliadin (AGA), which is found in non-celiac gluten sensitivity.
If the AGA test is negative, the sample will be tested for wheat allergy.
