Women’s Comprehensive Hormone Analysis
What’s it used for?
The Comprehensive Hormone Panel maybe be used to provide a more in depth analysis of hormone levels. The hormones in this package will asses Free and Total Testosterone, DHEA-S, Estradiol, Estrogen, HGH, IGF-1, SHBG, Parathyroid Hormone, Progesterone, and Pregnenolone levels. Hormone levels start to decline over time and may include symptoms such as hot flashes, irregular menstrual cycles/painful or heaving bleeding, low energy, low sex drive, weight gain, water retention, insomnia, decreased muscle strength as well as cognitive decline. The Women’s Expanded Hormone Package can help measure hormone levels whether you have started any hormone replacement therapy or may be interested in starting hormone replacement therapy.
Women who have a 28-day cycle, blood should be drawn on day 21 (day 1 is the day that bleeding begins). For longer or shorter cycles, count 8 days back from the day your next menstruation would start.
Women who no longer have a menstruation cycle, blood can be drawn any day of the month.

Parathyroid Hormone (PTH), Intact | Measures the amount of parathyroid hormone to evaluate parathyroid function. PTH helps regulate calcium, Vitamin D, and phosphorus levels in the blood and bones |
Pregnenolone | This test measures the amount of pregnenolone in the blood |
Progesterone | Measures the level of progesterone to help assess fertility |
Estrone | Post menopausal type estrogen needed for bone health. Too high leads to heart disease, breast cancer, and stroke. This test is used to measure estrone (E1) , one of three main estrogens in the body. The other estrogens are estradiol (E2) and estriol (E3). |
